FUNCTION:

  • Protects vertical discharge stacks from entry of rain, snow, dirt, insects, etc.

FEATURES:

  • Lid automatically recloses after exhaust; lip overhangs pipe.
  • Flag on 1.5″ – 18″ sizes points downward after exhaust has occurred.
  • Self-locking set screw attaches Weather-Cap to pipe.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS:

  • Weather-Cap is designed for lower velocity/acceleration applications frequently found in Gas Distribution applications.

POP-TOP

TYPE 200/250

FUNCTION:

  • Protects vertical discharge stacks from entry of rain, snow, dirt, insects, etc.

FEATURES:

  • Lid automatically recloses after exhaust; lip overhangs pipe.
  • Spring on Type 250 (2″ – 12″ sizes) absorbs lid momentum for high pressure or pop reliefs.
  • Self-locking set screw attaches Pop-Top to pipe.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS:

  • Pop-Tops are frequently applied where higher velocities and accelerations exist, and a self-closing type design is required.
